Why a Christian School?

The Bible tells us that children are a gift from the Lord:

'Sons are a heritage from the LORD,
children a reward from him.'
Psalm 127:3

As parents, we have been instructed by God to train our children 'in the way they should go', so that when they are mature, 'they will not turn from it':

'Train a child in the way he should go,
and when he is old he will not turn from it.'
Proverbs 22:6

We are to 'bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord':

'Fathers, do not exasperate your children;
instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.'
Ephesians 6:4

The Scriptures are intended to be an integral part of everyday life and parents are to 'impress them' on their children:

'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your strength.
These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts.
Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home
and when you walk along the road, when you lie down
and when you get up.'
Deuteronomy 6:5-7
